Funded by Welsh Government and delivered by the Education Workforce Council (EWC), Educators Wales offers a range of services which bring together career, training, and job opportunities within Wales’ education sector into one, easy to access location.
The jobs portal, one of the biggest dedicated to the education sector in Wales, gives job searchers access to the very best opportunities on offer. What’s more, most organisations who advertise their vacancies free of charge via their local authority are automatically featured on Educators Wales too.
To find out more, visit the Educators Wales website, or, why not invite the team along to a meeting so they can share the fantastic benefits being registered with Educators Wales can bring.
We know that 7 out of 25 children and young people in Wales are currently living in poverty, which affects their daily lives, education and future life opportunities.
The Price of Pupil Poverty Guides are a freely available set of guides for schools which consider how making SMALL changes in 5 key areas across school life (Understanding Poverty; School Uniform and Clothing; Food and Hunger; Participation in the Life of the School; Home-School Relationship) can make a BIG difference to the lives of learners and families affected by lower incomes and the rising costs of living. These guides are also available as a set of Governor’s Guides, and school governors will find a pre-recorded webinar about the guides here.
Schools may also sign up for FREE to the Tackling the Impact of Poverty on Education Programme to receive additional FREE resources including a comprehensive toolkit and training support.
