Raiders News:
Over the next 8 days, our Riverview NAX students will be headed to Penticton to participate in the CSSHL Playoffs. They will compete against teams from across Western Canada as they represent NAX & Riverview. Best wishes to our student-athletes as they take part in the tournament!
Closer to home, our Raiders basketball teams are finishing their seasons with medal games this week:
Our Junior Girls Basketball Team will compete for the bronze medal on Tuesday, March 10 at Riverview against École Champs Vallée School. Tip-off is scheduled for around 4:00 PM.
Our Senior Girls Basketball Team will compete for the bronze medal on Thursday, March 12 at Riverview against Mother d’Youville School. Tip-off is also scheduled for around 4:00 PM.
Good luck to both teams as they compete!
The link to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences next Wednesday is included here. If you would like to connect with your child’s teachers, please use the link to book a time. Families of students with an ISP who are looking for a mid-year update are asked to contact their child’s homeroom teacher directly to arrange a meeting time.
School Council Update: There is still time to order hot lunch for April; be sure to find the link and school code below. Our RMS School Council is also inviting families to participate in a family book study. The first 10 families to sign up will receive copies of The Anxious Generation and The Amazing Generation by Jonathan Haidt. This could be a great opportunity to read and learn together as a family.
Finally, a reminder that Monday is a Professional Development Day for staff, so there will be no school for students. Enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday.
