It’s been another busy and exciting week at Riverview! Thank you to all of our families for keeping the school informed of sickness and absence as we work through all of the illnesses circulating right now. Using the Safe Arrival app is our preferred method of reporting absences.

We also want to remind everyone to remain diligent in helping reduce the spread of illness. Please continue to encourage frequent handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, and staying home when feeling unwell. These small steps make a big difference in keeping our school community healthy and safe.

On Thursday, December 4, we proudly celebrated our 2024–2025 Honours and Honours with Distinction recipients. This is an incredible accomplishment for our students, and we were thrilled to recognize their hard work and dedication.

Our Grade 5–6 students enjoyed skating here in town this week. It was wonderful to see their confidence and skills grow in just a few short days on the ice.

A huge thank you to all families who attended Parent Teacher Interviews virtually last night. We truly appreciate your ongoing support. An extra shout-out goes to our amazing RMS School Council for providing dinner for staff between interviews—your kindness means so much.

Finally, ’tis the season for theme days! Our Leadership students have been working hard to plan some festive fun. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates on what’s coming next.
