Whoa! What a week! Our last 5 day week of January was packed with excitement. Our students are wrapping up the term and this includes CTF Option classes. 3D printing, Construction, Archery, Cosmetology, Leadership, Foods, Games, and so much more - our students have a wide variety of option classes to join.

The start of Term 2 begins on Thursday, January 30, and this includes CTF! Students will be able to see their courses on PowerSchool next week.

Our staff is working hard on finalizing report cards and they will be accessible on Wednesday, January 29. A reminder that we have no school on Wednesday, January 29, as it is a professional development day.

Don't forget - new Term starts on January 30 - there will be new fees for the Quarter 3 CTF classes on your accounts in the coming days

Monday, February 3 - School Council & Fundraising Council Meeting at 5pm

February 6 & 7 - Teacher Convention - NO SCHOOL

February 14 - RMS/JMHS Band Spaghetti Dinner; tickets here

IMPORTANT! School Fees!

BG Technology fees, CTF fees and field trip fees if applicable are on your parent portal. It is impossible to run our CTF/Field Trips without the fees. We appreciate your attention to this! Quarter 3 fees will be on your portals soon!

Please reach out to our office staff if you would like to set up a payment plan for your fees. Breaking the payments up over the school year can allow you to pay your fees without the stress of paying everything all at once.

My name is Ronda Kehoe, and I am the Learning Support Teacher as well as our school counsellor. I am not a therapist, but can support students as things come up. Life happens! Library Updates

Please check with your child(ren) if they have any outstanding library books. Students were allowed to take books out over the holidays. Also available, under the Student tab on the Black Gold School Division website, there is access to E-Books for all Students! These books may not be in our Library but are available online!
