As we wrap up another incredible school year at Riverview, we want to take a moment to thank you for being such an important part of our school community. This year has been full of amazing memories — from friendships formed, to exciting extracurriculars, engaging classroom activities, and so much more.
A heartfelt thank you to our School Council for providing a delicious lunch for staff on Tuesday. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the end of a great year as a team.
Our students have truly shone over the past few weeks, finishing strong and showing Raider spirit every step of the way. We ended our year on a high note with our annual water fight on Wednesday — a fun-filled afternoon where students in Grades 5–9 and staff came together to enjoy the sunshine, laughter, and a hot dog lunch to top it all off!

We wish all of our Raider families a safe, joyful, and adventure-filled summer. We can’t wait to hear all about your summer memories when we see you in August.

Join us on August 25 from 5:00–6:00 p.m. for our Welcome Back event — a chance for students to drop off school supplies and meet the staff before the new year begins.

Wow, what a year it has been! Our RMS School Council and Fundraising Council have been hard at work, along with countless volunteers, to bring opportunities to our students and school community.
In the graphic, you will see the Opportunities brought to our RMS Community, along with opportunties that our School Council participated in.
Thanks to the countless hours put in to raise funds, the RMS School Council and Fundraising Council have been able to purchase various items for our Raiders, including supporting our Art program, purchasing a half cart of chromebooks, replacing an oven in our Foods room and a Ping Pong table in the Cove. They have also purchased new Archery targets for our Archery team to use and supported the purchase of RMS banners to use at various athletic events and events at the school.
Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and community members who made these initiatives possible. We are proud of what we have accomplished together this year.

My name is Ronda Kehoe, and I have been the Learning Support Teacher as well as our school counsellor. It has been my privilege to work at Riverview these past number of years, and Raiders will always be near and dear to my heart. As I coast into my retirement, I want to introduce you to Jenna Devine who will be the learning support teacher at Riverview next fall. Jenna comes to us as a seasoned teacher, and has excellent skills to offer to our Raiders and their families. Have a wonderful summer, everyone!
