🏃‍♂️ Track & Field Success: 1,200+ Athletes Strong!

Well, we did it! Over 1,200 athletes competed at our annual elementary track and field meet this past week.

A massive thank you goes out to all of our incredible staff, students, and volunteers. Your hard work, energy, and dedication are what made this year’s meet a monumental success. It truly takes an incredible community to pull off an event of this scale.

📝 Important Exam Information (Junior High)

As we continue with final exams, please take note of the following requirements for our Junior High students:

Permission Forms: If you would like your child to have permission to leave school grounds after their exams, a permission form must be completed. This form is easily accessible and ready for you to fill out online via PowerSchool.

Exam Room Policy: To maintain a quiet testing environment, all students are required to remain in their designated exam rooms until a minimum of 11:00 AM.

Please ensure these forms are completed promptly so we can ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for everyone.

School Fees!

BG Technology fees, CTF fees and field trip fees if applicable are on your parent PowerSchool portal. It is impossible to run our CTF/Field Trips without the fees. We appreciate your attention to this!

Quarter 4 fees are due now!

Please reach out to our office staff if you would like to set up a payment plan for your fees. Breaking the payments up over the school year can allow you to pay your fees without the stress of paying everything all at once.

Gr 6 & 9 PAT and Final Exam Dates

For all exams listed below, exams will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. We ask that all students arrive at school at regular time (8:05am) to ensure they are able to properly login to digital platforms and are prepared for a 9:00 AM start. Students must stay in the examination room until 11:00 AM (except Math Pt A). For the Grade 7-9 exams starting Tuesday, June 9, if Jr High students wish to leave after their exam, a permission form needs to be signed on Power School (this will become available next week). If students wish to stay in the afternoon, a Study Hall space will be provided.

Monday, June 15- Grade 6 Math Part A PAT

Tuesday, June 16 - Grade 9 Math Part A PAT; Grade 7 & 8 Math Part A Final

Thursday, June 18 - Grade 6 Math Part B PAT

Friday, June 19 - Grade 9 Math Part B PAT; Grade 7 & 8 Math Part B Final

Monday, June 22 - Grade 9 Social PAT; Grade 7 & 8 Social Final

Tuesday, June 23 - Grade 9 Science PAT; Grade 7 & 8 Science Final

Regular classes will resume on non-exam days.

June 11 - Last library class for all students; last day of Jr High CTF

June 12 - Last day of Gr 5/6 CTF

June 17 - Grade 9 Farewell at 8:15am & End of Year Assembly at 11:10am

June 24 - Last Day of School !
