This week has been filled with exciting achievements and memorable moments at Riverview! Our Grade 5/6 students have been hard at work in Science, building their rovers in preparation for next week’s test. We’re looking forward to seeing their creations in action on a sunny day as they test their designs and problem-solving skills.
In athletics, we couldn’t be more proud of our junior basketball teams! Both the Junior Girls and Junior Boys teams showcased their talent and teamwork, ultimately winning their championship games. Their banners will be proudly displayed in the gym over the next few weeks, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
In the world of hockey, our U15 NAX teams traveled to Penticton to represent Riverview and NAX. We are thrilled to announce that both teams came home with silver medals! Their effort and sportsmanship were truly exceptional, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.
On Monday, six of our Grade 8-9 students had the opportunity to attend a Girls in STEM day, where they explored various Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields. This event gave them a chance to engage with professionals, participate in hands-on activities, and gain valuable insights into potential career paths in STEM.
It’s been a week full of remarkable achievements, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for our Raiders in the weeks ahead!
