Happy New Year! We hope your winter break was restful and filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with your families. It’s been so exciting to see our hallways bustling again, with students reconnecting, sharing stories of their winter adventures, and bringing our school community back to life.
As we jump into January, there’s much to look forward to, especially in athletics! Here’s a quick look at what’s happening in our Raider sports community:
Elementary Girls (Jan 17-18 at RMS) and Boys Basketball (Jan 24-25 at West Haven): The season is wrapping up in January with final tournaments just around the corner—good luck to all our young athletes!
Archery: Our archery program is kicking off, and we can’t wait to see our sharpshooters in action.
Junior High Girls and Boys Basketball: The excitement continues as their season games start up next week—come out and cheer on our teams! Girls kick off our season on Jan 14 vs Covenant! Boys are traveling to Sacred Heart (Wetaskiwin).
NAX Varsity Hockey Tournament in Devon for the Crown Tournament (Jan 16-19): A huge shoutout to our hockey players as they prepare for this exciting tournament.
Our Term 1 is wrapping up at the end of January, and our teachers are collecting the final assignments in class for the term. Be sure to check out your child's PowerSchool for any outstanding assignments!
We’re proud of the talent, sportsmanship, and dedication our Raiders bring to every game and activity. Let’s carry this energy into the classroom and beyond as we tackle the rest of the school year together.
Welcome back, Raiders! Let’s make 2025 unforgettable!
Mr. Pedersen & Ms. Kruse
