It has been a great week back at school following our fall break. We now head into a stretch of full school weeks with no PD days until Winter Break. This is an excellent opportunity for staff and students to focus on academics, routines, and positive learning habits. Being on time in the morning and maintaining strong attendance will make a big difference in supporting student success.
Thank you to all of our basketball coaches and players as they begin their season. We truly appreciate our volunteer coaches for creating a fun and memorable basketball experience for so many of our students.
Our students are getting ready for the Winter Concert on Thursday, December 4 at 6pm. Mark it in your calendars! We look forward to seeing you there.

Please take a moment when you see the email to pop on to your Parent Portal and complete the Student Enrollment Verification form located at the bottom of the left hand side menu.

If you would like to view any new books or place an order through Scholastic Canada, you can view their latest flyer on scholastic.ca. When you place an order it should arrive at the school in 10 business days and will be sent home with your child. Riverview gets a portion of all sales to purchase new items for the Library Learning Common!❤️
Grades 5 to 8 have regularly scheduled classes and will be bringing home a book or two to read. Any student at any time can also sign on to the Black Gold School Division page, go to the "Engaging Students" tab , then click on Destiny Discovery. They use their school email and password to get into the online Library. There is a wide selection of Ebooks and Audiobooks that students can access from home.
