Hawks,

The new term has begun! In a high school environment this is another time to start anew with new courses and goals. For our junior high students, we have had a midpoint check-in, and now it is time to look at what can be tweaked from now until the end of the term! We also had a teachers' convention where I managed to learn all about school culture, parity within administrative roles, and how to manage difficult conversations!

Our Collegiate took its first steps within the new space, and it has been great to see the learning begin. We also had wellness week with a variety of activities linked to wellness provided to each grade within the school! Finally, as you may have seen on the Black Gold news feed, I have accepted the role of principal at Ohpaho Secondary School for the 2026/2027 school year. This means that in the coming weeks CSCS's new principal will be announced. That said, I will be a proud hawk until the end of this school year! I hope all of you enjoy the family day weekend!
