Last week we had our December School Council meeting. It was a good meeting with lots of interesting dialog about pedagogy, school programming and future thoughts. One of the highlights of the meeting was having one of our Leadership students attend. The group was impressed at the efforts of the student leadership group as well as the large amount if students engaged in providing leadership within the building. I was impressed as well!

We also talked about the development of our Collegiate model and about the professional learning that our staff has undertaken in the last few months. It is not just the students that have been learning at CSS. From Visible Learning to Learning Walks, we are working hard to refine our skills in order to bring out the best in your children.

Tomorrow we will be engaged in this learning as a division. I hope that this day provides our students with a moment of reflection before our run to the break. There is a lot happening at the school as we roll into the break. We hope to see you all at Beetle Juice and we will have Christmas Lunch on the 13th.
