Hawks,
It is this time of year, as the snow slips away that we start to wonder where the year went. My tiny woodworking shop at home that I have hibernate in when I needed a moment of rest all of the sudden doesn't need to be warmed up before I work in it and I start thinking about riding my bike as well as camping. Of course, it is still to wet and cold for me to venture onto the trails, but spring provides the opportunity to look out at the sunset and dream of what summer will bring. To dream.
So it is at school as well. While we are spending time thinking about finsishing strong. The last quarter of our year, final exams, report cards. We are also thinking about Collegiate programming, next years enrolments and hiring! It is an exciting time of year for certain! For next year, those of you interested in the Collegiate, we welcome you to an information session on Tuesday followed by our Grade Ten Orientation! We also look forward to our Grade Seven orientation on the 24th! Welcoming our newest Hawks into the nest is always so much fun.
Of course, if you can't make one of the dates, reach out and we will help you out! In the meantime, enjoy the sun and dream of what is over the horizon!
Respectfully,
Justin Klaassen

It is the season of spring showers and outdoor flowers. The sun is out, and everyone is getting that spring feeling. Students are exploring our outdoor nook just off the library with joy on their faces.
On April 22, we celebrate Earth Day with all kinds of books about our beautiful Earth. There are books about environmental issues, how to better support the arising issues, and how to have a more sustainable future.
We are also celebrating Autism Awareness Month. We have a great selection of books on this topic as well.
Autism Acceptance Month celebrates and honors the experiences and identities of Autistic individuals. It emphasizes understanding, inclusion, and support, moving beyond awareness towards meaningful acceptance.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get out and enjoy this weather!
