Hawks,
As I was driving to school the other day I was musing about the new crack in my windshield marring what was before crystal clear viewing area. Annoyed at first, I shrugged and reminded myself that at times we need to adapt to what is in front of us. So it is as I let you know of a couple of our staff that will be moving on to new challenges at the end of this year. Both Ms. de Leon and Ms. Johnson have found new roles that provide them new challenge and excitement. We are, or course, sad to see them leave our team! From museum artefacts brought into our science classrooms to One Act festivals these two have made an indelible mark on our school. While we have postings up for their positions I think we all know that you can place a new person into a position but you can never replace people.
In the meantime, we are keeping an eye on what is coming up as well. Below you will see that we are looking for families to host international students, exams are around the corner, and dual credit courses are signing up for the fall! Perhaps most pertinent to our grade 12's, we will be celebrating our grads next week! See below for a little slide show of all of them! Along the way we will try not to forget that so long ago Shakespeare reminded us that summer is all to short! Enjoy the today!
Respectfully,
Justin Klaassen
