WEEK 12

Patterns and texture on a box 

Students finalize their texture boxes and hang them in the TED gallery corridor. Students will fill in a reflection form and evaluate their work. The final lesson of this week will be revision and reflection. 

WEEK 11

Patterns and texture on a box 

Students will apply what they learned about textures on 6 sides of a box. The boxes will be part of a mural.  

WEEK 10

Finalization of Zentangles. Patterns and texture on a box 

Students present their Zentangeles in Class.  Students will then begin working on textures and applying them on paper. They will learn to use various materials and drawing techniques to create textures on paper. 

WEEK 9

continuation of Patterns - Zentangles 

 Students will complete their design on circular cardboard and use the knowledge learned to shade and color in the patterns. 

TERM 1 BREAK 

WEEK 7

Patterns - Zentangles 

 Students will create their own presentations about Zentangle art and present in class. The research will help them understand the project and all about patterns.


WEEK 6

mixed media - collage - finalization

Students continue working on the mixed media collages this week. Students will present their work in class to self-evaluate and reflect on their work. Peer evaluation form to be filled on Google Classroom. 

WEEK 5

mixed media - collage

This week students will be introduced to Mixed media and different mediums to which they can create art and collages. Students will plan their designs and prepare materials. Individually each student will create a mixed-media collage artwork. 

WEEK 4

Lenticulars - evaluation

students will finalize and complete their lenticulars for presentation and three fill in an evaluation form to reflect on the project and what they learned.

This week students will take their knowledge from Math and apply it to create lenticulars in TED art. 

WEEK 2

What can you do with Sticks?

This week students were given a task to transform popsicle sticks into a creative design of their own by planning and collaborating together. Then they were introduced to the world of Art and the building blocks of it.

WEEK 1

Introduction:

Teachers break the ice and get to know the students more and they get to know the teacher better.  A short presentation about the teacher will be shared with them and pupils are requested to share the same with their teachers.
