Mechanics forms a part of the AS Mathematics course together with Pure Mathematics.
Pure Mathematics is 60% of the Complete Maths AS Level.
Mechanics is 40% of the Complete Maths AS Level.
For A Level Students, they must complete both Mechanics and Statistics by the end of Year 13.
