AS/A Mechanics

Congratulations!

You've reached the final phase of your school career at EMS. Success comes through hard work and dedication. May we all use our time effectively and efficiently in order to ensure success at the end of this academic year. I am really looking forward to working with you in the Mechanics class and I wish you well!

I believe in the wise words of Albert Einstein, who said:

"The only way to learn Mathematics, is to do Mathematics"

As young adults we should realize that we are busy preparing ourselves to make our world a better place!

The way forward

We are living in extraordinary and exciting times! This requires us to focus on our respective responsibilities even more than before! Although we are moving beyond a blended teaching-and-learning model, communication remains crucial.

This site aims to give you and your parents an overview of what happens in Mechanics; where, when and how.

We will be using Google Classroom as the main platform. That is where the daily communication, classwork and assignments will be shared. You will really have to take ownership of your learning/growing by accessing the classroom on a daily basis to make sure you do not fall behind. Ask questions! Ask assistance! Share with the rest of us if you come across useful info/examples etc. on the internet.

We do not know what will happen in the future, so let us focus on NOW and do the best we can NOW.

It is my prayer that you will all be focused and know that success is there for us to achieve.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
