My name is Mr. Rami, I was born and raised in Lebanon. I have been teaching at the English Modern School since 2010  and I'm honoured to be the Head of PE  and after school activities coordinator.

I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm that the younger students have for being active. My goal is to teach them why being active is important and show them all the different ways that they can be successful at moving. Besides our amazing students, one of the greatest things about teaching at EMS is the motivation and dedication of the PE department.

My name is Mr. Fred and I come from Portugal. These past couple of years I taught in Portugal, Qatar (EMS) and China.

My ambition has always been to become a teacher, possibly stemming from the early fascination for the concept of teaching and making an impact in other's lives that I came across due to my mother's influence. Also, my father has always been connected to basketball coaching, both at the youth and professional levels, so I grew up surrounded by sports books that made me believe how important it is to teach the fundamentals of living a healthy life.

As I believe life is all about balance, becoming a PE teacher was the perfect way of combining both a love for teaching and sports.

Looking forward to being back!
