Hello everyone,
Coming from a teaching background as a Mathematics teacher with over 21 years of experience, I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics as well as a Master’s in Multidisciplinary Studies - Teaching and Learning. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching students across all age groups, up to the university level. During this journey, I witnessed the beauty of seeing students overcoming challenges, achieving milestones, and allowing us as educators the honor of guiding and supporting them on their transformational paths.
This year marks a new chapter for me as I step into the role of AIM Coordinator. What truly drew me to this position was the opportunity to focus more deeply on support and intervention—stepping in where students need it most and making a meaningful difference in their learning. I am excited about this important year of change, where AIM allows us to offer targeted help, foster positive growth, and remind every learner that they are capable and never alone in their journey.
I look forward to walking this path alongside my colleagues—collaborating to achieve powerful results, enhancing our students’ skills, and helping them grow into confident, successful individuals.
Regards
Najat Abou Chakra

Welcome Back to School: Plan Your Success with These 6 Key Tips
A structured daily routine is vital for your child’s success both academically and personally. As a parent, you play an essential role in helping your child maintain a healthy and consistent school routine. Here are six tips to guide you:
Ensure your child gets adequate rest by sticking to a consistent bedtime. A well-rested child is more alert and ready to learn. Similarly, waking up at the same time every day helps establish a calm and predictable start to the morning.
Provide a quiet, organized area at home where your child can focus on homework and study without distractions. Having a set location for studying encourages responsibility and good habits.
Encourage your child to set aside a specific time each day for homework and revision. This helps them manage their workload effectively and reduces last-minute stress.
Minimize distractions during homework and study time by removing mobile phones, video games, and other electronic devices. Set clear limits on screen time to help your child stay focused on their studies. Encourage your child to switch off their phone before bedtime and instead unwind with a book, promoting better sleep and a more relaxed mind.
While academics are important, extracurricular activities provide balance and personal growth. Help your child manage their time so they can participate in activities they enjoy without feeling overwhelmed.
Recognize and Celebrate Your Child’s Efforts
Acknowledge your child’s hard work in maintaining their routine. Positive reinforcement not only boosts their confidence but also helps them develop intrinsic motivation—the internal drive to succeed because they find value and satisfaction in their achievements. Encouraging this self-motivation will help your child stay on track and continue to excel independently.
