Introduction:

I’m Ms. Hala, an Art & Design teacher with a background in Architecture and over 7 years of professional experience in the field of design. I have been teaching for the past 4 years, sharing my passion for creativity, design, and artistic expression with my students.

I teach Year 8, Year 9, and IGCSE Art & Design, guiding students to develop their artistic skills, explore their creativity, and build confidence in expressing their ideas. My goal is to help every student discover their own creative voice and develop the skills, imagination, and independence needed to grow as an artist and designer.

In our Year 7 Art class,students will have 3 lessons a week. Foundations of Art, we'll embark on a creative journey to explore the world of art. Students will delve into art history and foundations, honing their essential skills through hands-on projects. We'll foster creativity and self-expression while sharpening observational skills. Additionally, we'll delve into color theory and harmony to understand how colors work together to create visually appealing compositions.

In our Year 8 Art class,students will have 3 lessons a week. we'll delve deeper into the world of art. We'll build upon our foundational skills by exploring portraits, textures and patterns, and shading techniques. Students will continue to develop their creativity and self-expression while honing their observational skills. Additionally, we'll delve into art history and explore different art movements.

In Year 9 Art, students will have 3 lessons a week. we're gonna dive deep into the world of creativity! We'll tackle still life, bringing objects to life . We'll also explore our identities through eye-catching projects, and get hands-on with typography, learning the art of lettering. Plus, we'll sharpen our skills and unleash our imaginations all year long.
