IT Accessibility Center
Meeting the diverse technology and learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Are your websites and applications accessible to people with disabilities? How do you verify the accessibility claims of vendors? How does universal design support the diverse learning styles of students? Are Section 508 and W3C WCAG requirements confusing? Stop by the IT Accessibility Center at the 2010 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference and learn what universal design really means, how much it costs, and how you can be a part of making the resources of your campus more universally accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Participate in a mini-seminar, try a disability simulation, get a free accessibility evaluation, share a story or ask your burning questions.
The IT Accessibility Center will be located in the Exhibit Hall, (Booth 921).
