Year 10 Design and Construction

If you are interested in planning and designing with a view to constructing products such as buildings and objects around the home, then this may be the subject for you. This Design and Construction elective combines skills learnt in Middle School Visual Art and Design classes. The course is structured to use practical design-based skills that could be useful for alternative pathways such as building or trade work. This course is not suitable for students planning a pathway into VCE Art Making and Exhibiting or VCE Visual Communication. The course has been created so that students complete a series of mini-projects with a real-world focus. Working to a Design Brief, students apply practical skills to design and create specific outcomes.
