Year 12 Drama
(Unit 3 & 4)

COURSE OUTLINE

Unit 3 – Ensemble 

Students will engage in workshops and activities that draw on contemporary drama practice. They will collaborate in the development of a group performance based on a number of performance styles. Students will gain an understanding and analysis of the student’s development of character and role within the group. Analysis of a professional performance will take place. 

Unit 4 – Solo Performance

Students will engage in workshops and activities that enable them to present and develop a solo performance in a chosen style. Reflection on and analysis of this process will also form a part of the coursework and assessment. A realisation of the individual in performance and the process of developing the work will highlight the student’s ability to integrate all aspects of performance.

• Written report of solo presentation
