OUTCOMES:
Outcome 1:
Students will be able to define and apply concepts to routine problems correctly.
Outcome 2:
Students will be able to apply concepts and techniques to non-routine problems that investigative, modelling or problem-solving techniques. Students will also be able to analyse and discuss their findings.
Outcome 3:
Students will be able to apply computational thinking and use appropriate technology effectively to solve problems.
One important aspect in Mathematical Investigations in both units focus on:
Formulation
Exploration
Communication
Tests
Mathematical Investigations
Examination
Students need a “TI nspire” CAS Graphics calculator.
