Route 3 - by tram

Route 3

Tram line 1 will take you north-east from the Catedrala Mitropolitană stop to the Meteorological Observatory, through the Timișoara East Train Station, and back to the Cathedral. The route crosses the oldest part of the city, Fabric. This tour is about 45 minutes. 

Once you get back to the Catedrala Mitropolitană stop, you can go north via Sf.-Maria Square (St. Mary's Square) to the Timișoara North Train Station. The trip takes about 15 minutes (depending on traffic). The route is highlighted in blue on the city map.
