Check list for FMP
You are responsible for your own work, you need to look through this list and make sure you have completed all of the below stages. If you are missing anything make sure it is done as soon as possible!
Critical Perspective
You should ensure that you are continuously reflecting on your critical perspective and making sure that it continuously flows within your work.
Your critical perspective must be identifiable throughout the work and your document showing that you are considering how this is working and being used.
Page 1 Brief
Your first page should include all content from the FMP page, Including copies of the documentation that is at the bottom of the page.
PAGE 2 Context
This page should contain all the questions from the context page, you need to address these questions and begin to write about what you are aiming to do in this project. The questions are all in RED font.
At the bottom of the page you should begin some inital research this can be as little or as much as you need to help inform your decisions for the proposal form.
PAGE 3 PROPOSAL
You need to add the copy of the form that is answered in full into this page, You are to use the form as this is an official UAL form and you could be marked down/Failed without the appropriate form.
Do Not deviate from the form
Underneath should be a section for tutor feedback, copy and paste the pitch feedback from your forms into this section if it is not already there.
PAGE 4 Pre production
This section should contain both primary and secondary research make sure it is clear that one section will be primary research and which is secondary.
Theoretical Problems
You should discuss the following:-
Ideas, secondary research, primary research, time management, motivation, activity log, proposal etc
You need to have a minimum of 3 and keep adding more as you come across them
Practical Problems
You should discuss the following:-
2d concepts. Photoshop, illustrator, traditional concepts, 3d models
You need to have a minimum of 3 and keep adding more as you come across them
PAGE 5 MIDPOINT
You need to add the copy of the form that is answered in full into this page, You are to use the form as this is an official UAL form and you could be marked down/Failed without the appropriate form.
Do Not deviate from the form
PAGE 6 Production
This should contain all production that you do, including sketches, blockouts and any models. You need to make sure that you have a production log within this section. these should include
the plan you have,
How you made it,
Reflections on how it turned out,
what you are going to do next.
Page 7 Evaluation
You need to add the copy of the form that is answered in full into this page, You are to use the form as this is an official UAL form and you could be marked down/Failed without the appropriate form.
Final page Bibliography
This should contain all references and sources that you have used, make sure you have notes as to what belongs where. For example anything that links to secondary research should be labelled as such to make it easier for moderators to see and view the work.
Final notes
Make sure all links are accessible to anyone with link, this means the proposal, midpoint and evaluation.
Make sure everything is clear to read
Make sure you have done everything to the best of your ability.
Look over your work for any potential errors or spelling mistakes.
