Blender's sculpting features empower artists to mold and shape digital models with organic precision. Its dynamic brushes simulate real-world sculpting tools, enabling intricate detailing, surface manipulation, and texture creation. Users can effortlessly sculpt complex forms, characters, creatures, and environments, adding depth and realism. Blender's multiresolution system accommodates varying levels of detail, while dynamic topology ensures adaptive geometry refinement.
Sculpting in Blender offers a powerful creative outlet, suitable for character design, concept art, and asset creation, enhancing the software's appeal as an all-encompassing tool for 3D artists and designers.
The above is an example of the typical UI that you would see going into blender.
On the left hand side are the tools you can use
along the top are the brush settings including radius, strength and whether it is adding or subtracting from the mesh.
On the right are the hierarchy and properties of the scene, model or modifiers
At the top there is the typical settings seen in most software's along with the different modes and interface tabs.
We will be looking at sculpting a basic pumpkin then adding different features such as a stem, leaves and other details to give the illusion of a carved pumpkin. we will then look at how to add some colour to the mesh and paint some details on using vertex painting.

Below are some base heads that will help you with your designs the heads are Masculine, None descript and Feminine. these should help to get you started with the designs and what it is that you wish to create however you are more than welcome to start with a sphere. That will allow you some more freedom with your sculpture, if you struggle to get started these will potentially help.
The key to this unit is utilizing the research you have gathered to help influence your designs. You need to experiment with your ideas try different things and play around with the software.
Try looking for anatomy referances, look at the bone structure of certain animals or humans aswell as the musculature. this might help to provided some structure to your models.
You could also experiment with creating a zombified version of the model look at how the human form works and how it can be adapted to different environments. Doing this will help to give you some ideas as well as looking at building skills and experimenting with the software.
