To get started you need to create a outline of what you aim to create, you will need to look at the following areas to ensure that you are creating a cohesive idea. The three subheadings below will help to get you started on your intended goal. Look at these as a whole and in a wider general perspective which you can then further expand on.
The variety of media that can be used during this product are only limited to what you can access and use competently. When looking at media it is important to consider your TA and make sure that what you are creating is appropriate and accessible to them. During this section it would be beneficial to scope out what critical perspectives you will be able to intergrate into your project. Your critical perspective must have purpose and feel organic to the subject.
One of the key elements of being a artist is being able to critically evaluate your own work, this means that you are able to disconnect and asses the work as though you are the manager. This can be something that you do constantly throughout your work, ensuring that you are being consistent.
There are many different genres that you can look into for your project, when considering a genre its best to look at it hand in hand with the age ratings. this is due to what content may and may not be acceptable. For example a horror game would normally contain content that wouldn't be on par with the rating of a U, as these games contain more adult themes. Where as a comedy could fit into most age ranges it would just need to be tailored to the appropriate age.
Looking at what we have discussed in Media topic investigation above you are tasked to create an small scene or character, this scene/character will be for the game of your design. Remember you need to consider the elements from audience research you have previously done above going into furhter detail refining the ideas.

What does the rating mean for the content that you can include?
What critical perspective are you intending to implement
You will also need to create a profile of the player, what are the demographics psychographics ect. You MUST use a mixture of both Primary and Secondary research for this project.
For example
Demographics - gender, age, occupation, income, education level, marital status
Psychographics - values, interests, attitudes, lifestyle
Behaviour Patterns - method of purchase (e.g., online or in-person), frequency of purchase, how a customer conducts product research
