Blender
Blender is a software that covers various disciplines and processes. For example you can use it for hard surface modelling, sculpting, animation, VFX and texturing.
Blender is free to use and install on any machine, and is the primary software we will use for the course.
Unreal engine
Unreal Engine is built by developers, for developers, with fair terms for all. Because everyone with an idea deserves to use the world’s most open, advanced real-time creation tool to bring it to life.
unreal is a free to use software and will often have packs that are free each month
Substance painter
Substance 3D Painter is a 3D painting software that allows users to texture and add materials directly to 3D meshes in real-time.
You will have access to substance painter through college licences with the Adobe Suite
