Think about what role Digital Citizenship plays in your classroom, or how you might address this topic more often. Snap&Read is the reading tool for Google Chrome that covers the most diverse reading needs. It reads both accessible and inaccessible text aloud, levels vocabulary, and translates, delivering usage data to teachers who then can more easily assess students’ reading needs individually.

Co:Writer is an online word prediction software that works in conjunction with any Chrome browser-based application using writing features. As a user types, Co:Writer interprets spelling and grammar mistakes and offers word suggestions in real time.

"Since Time Immemorial" is the OSPI curriculum for Native American Education. To learn more about STI and integrating it into your classroom and curriculum, check out the Since Time Immemorial Online Module.
The STI module was a collaborative project between the Native American Education Program and the Department of Technology.

In an effort to support elementary school teachers integrate Computer Science into their classrooms, the Department of Technology will host in-person professional development sessions throughout the 2019-20 school year.
Sessions will focus on Computer Science standards, using robotics in the elementary classroom, and creating equitable teaching practices within computer science instruction.

Passwords - use strong, unique passwords for your different accounts
