Soror MarQuisia Johnson, Basileus
Greetings Sorors!
We had an amazing day of fellowship as we handled the business of Tau Rho Omega chapter last Saturday! Everyone looked so "pretty in pink with pearls" and the love was flowing throughout Bent Tree. Kudos to Soror Davina James, Soror Rhonda Reece and both the Philacter and Technology Committees for a phenomenal check-in process for our meeting. Please remember that we will begin collecting a $2 late fee at chapter meetings. All proceeds from the late fee will go toward EAF.
Stay tuned to the Looking Glass for all of our Program Activities and Events as we come to the close of the "Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service" administration. Also, remember to log into Wild Apricot to remain current on our chapter documents and internal events. Thank you for your love and support as we help each other pursue excellence. Continue to be safe and be blessed!

OUR STANDARDS
The Standards Committee has finalized the power-point for the Chapter Operations mini-lesson. The mini-lesson is scheduled for May 14th at 10:00 AM via Zoom. Join the Standards Committee for an informative meeting. Stay tuned for the formal invite.
Additionally, the activity for the Chapter Retreat is ready to go. It is our hope that it is impactful, brings understanding, and reminds us that we have a sensational sisterhood.
As a friendly reminder on our journey to compliance, we are going to go…go slow…but, go. We are taking another step forward through the efforts of Soror Cheryl Corbin and Soror Rhonda Reece. They are working on an organization plan for the folders in Wild Apricot. Thank you for taking on this task for us.
Now that the Chapter Self-Assessment survey has closed, the Standards committee will conduct an initial review of the results. The next order of business is the appointment of the Strategic Planning Committee members to begin the work on the 2023 - 2026 Strategic Plan.
We are TRO…the best Chapter in the Metroplex!
