Soror MarQuisia Johnson, Basileus
Summer Greetings, Sorors!
I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a fantastic summer break filled with relaxation, adventure, and quality time with loved ones. As we enjoy this well-deserved time off, let's remember the importance of supporting black-owned businesses by spending our black dollars. Don't forget to keep track of your receipts and share your contributions.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for our upcoming retreat in August. It's a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, strengthen our sisterhood, and recharge for the year ahead. I can't wait to see each and every one of you there!
Lastly, Happy Juneteenth! Let's honor our ancestors' resilience and celebrate the progress we've made while remaining dedicated to our ongoing pursuit of justice and equality.
Wishing you a summer filled with joy, rejuvenation, and meaningful experiences, and welcoming you back in September as we embark on another impactful year together.
Get well soon, Soror MarQuisia. We stand by you with unwavering support and love.

Greetings Oh So Pretty Sorors!
OUR STANDARDS
The Tech Team made an electronic copy of the Manual of Standard Procedures available to everyone via Wild Apricot. At this time, the revisions are still a work in progress. As soon as all the bylaw revisions have been voted on by the body and the Standards Committee has reviewed and presented the MSP information, we should be able to vote in September. Slow, but go…it is a process. Please continue using the link below until further notice.
Manual of Standard Procedures Thoughts
Additionally, the Technology Team provided an electronic copy of the Soror Code of Ethics via Wild Apricot. Hopefully, everyone has had an opportunity to read it and commit the contents to memory for a pop quiz! Again, just kidding about the quiz!
During the June Chapter meeting, I shared the remaining feedback items from the Soaring to Greatness survey. Here are the responses.
TRO Chapter Meeting June Feedback.pptx
Further on down the road is Culture Walk: Part II, which will be presented at Chapter Retreat.
As a friendly reminder on our journey to compliance as well as operating procedures defining who we are, we are going to go…go slow…but, go…correctly. Why? Because we are the Award Winning, Tenacious Tau Rho Omega.
Stay tuned!
