Greetings!

I am extremely excited to welcome the newest members of Tau Rho Omega that have joined us via reactivation and transfer. On behalf of the members of our chapter, we are so happy to have you! We look forward to working with you as we continue our mission to be of “Service to All Mankind”. Your gifts and talents will help to propel us as we help others pursue excellence.  I encourage you to join with other Tau Rho Omega sorors as we execute our shared mission.  

There are numerous opportunities to serve.  To name a few, our SOAR program initiatives, Pearls and Onyx and the Zina Movement are all areas where your contributions would be welcomed.  Please reach out to the chairmen of these program initiatives/events for more information.  I firmly believe that all that we need to be successful can be found in each of the members of our chapter. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to support you as you become acclimated to Tau Rho Omega. 

This week, I urge you to reach out to a soror  that you haven't seen in a while via email, text or phone call and give them an encouraging word.  Continue to pray for each other and love on one another. We are stronger together...we are the Tenacious & Talented Tau Rho Omega Chapter!

We have SOARED into March!! This month we have several upcoming events and I look forward to seeing you there. A “huge thank you” to you Sorors for signing up for the CHIPP delivery. Every time slot has been accounted for. Please continue to sign up to serve on the committee. The

Happy March, Sorors!  May the Spring showers wash away your fears and tears and bring clarity and peace to your mind and soul.  

OUR STANDARDS 

The 2022 TRO End of the Year Chapter survey results will be shared during our March meeting.  Thank you for your participation. 

On February 26th, the Technology Committee hosted Where Are My Documents? via Zoom. Thank you for your participation and patience as we move forward with our electronic folder system.  

On March 4, the Standards Committee hosted a review of the Soror Code of Ethics.  It was fun and informative.  Shout out to those who participated as well as to Soror Nicole P. (1st), Soror Terilyn (2nd), and Soror Davina (3rd) for placing in the Kahoot!  Everyone's a winner, though!  

The next activity is Lemon Squeezes: The Sequel.  More information to come. 

The Manual of Standard Procedures is just about done.  It will be presented to the Standards Committee for review prior to sharing with the Chapter.  

The revisions to the Chapter Bylaws are also in progress.  The final draft will be shared as soon as possible.  

As a friendly reminder on our journey to compliance as well as operating procedures defining who we are, we are going to go…go slow…but, go…correctly.  Why?  Because we are Tau Rho Omega.
