Soror MarQuisia Johnson, Basileus
Greetings Sorors!
It is with great pride that I reflect on the wonderful gift of sisterhood that we have been blessed to enjoy. The virtual world that we have been forced to embrace can not negate the love and spirit of sisterhood that binds us all. As we continue to navigate these unpredictable times, it is my hope and prayer that we continue to lean on our sisterhood. I encourage you to join me in reaching out to sorors that you know well and those that you may not know as well, to let them know that they are loved, thought about, prayed for and celebrated. It is by demonstrating that we are our sister’s keeper that we express our gratitude for being chosen to be a part of this illustrious sisterhood. Again, it is my honor to lead as we continue on our journey. Be safe and be blessed!

“Vision of Excellence”
“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”- Luke 6:38 AM
Greetings Sensational Sorors,
OUR STANDARDS
Because we had an informative, packed January Chapter meeting, I realized it may have been impossible to complete the TRO 2021 EOY feedback form. Therefore, back by popular demand…TRO Survey Results, Responses, and the Feedback Form are posted for your convenience. Please take a moment to review the results below, and complete the feedback form. I am very interested to hear ideas on how to address the opportunities for growth. Thanks so much in advance.

OUR WOMEN OF PEARLS COMMUNITY ACTION FOUNDATION
The Women of Pearls Executive Board is excited about 2022. As we kicked off our first meeting on January 13, its productivity demonstrated the readiness of the group to get to work. Our next executive board meeting is February 10. Currently, we are deciding on a signature program and a WOP calendar of events. It is our goal to share more information about the WOP Foundation, how to use its status, and simply learn about nonprofit organizations soon. There is one vacant position on the Board: Technology. If interested or interested in learning more about the desired position, please let me know.
If there is a need to use the Foundation’s status, please reach out to a Board member. If your employer makes charitable contributions to nonprofits, please inquire about their willingness to donate.

When shopping on Amazon, consider using this Amazon Smile Link: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/83-0985439, so that the WOP Foundation may receive a portion of the proceeds.
And, finally, please make sure to pay your WOP dues. The amount is $25.00 plus the $1.01 service fee.
