Soror MarQuisia Johnson, Basileus
Greetings!
The TENACIOUS Tau Rho Omega Chapter continues to shine in the DFW Metroplex! Kudos to Soror Carolyn Gilleylen and the entire DFW Metroplex Founders' Day Committee on an exquisite event to honor our illustrious founders of this great sisterhood. Kudos to Soror Tonja Barber for her diligence & fantastic work as the Milestone Honoree Liaison for our 2023 Golden and Silver Sorors!
This month we honor our beloved Ivy Beyond the Wall Soror Zina Williams. Kudos to Soror Rochelle Dillon and the Zina Movement for the work that they do to celebrate her life and continue her legacy. Domestic Violence is a SERIOUS matter and we want to bring awareness to the chapter, to the community, and beyond. If you or someone you know is a victim, please call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
This week, I urge you to reach out to a soror that you haven't seen in a while via email, text or phone call and give them an encouraging word. Continue to pray for each other and love on one another. We are stronger together...we are the Tenacious & Talented Tau Rho Omega Chapter!
Be safe and be blessed!

Greetings Madam Basileus,
Psi Lambda Omega Chapter's Strengthen our Sisterhood AKA Pals Committee invites your chapter members to join us in “Sorors, Get Matched!” - our matching program where a soror is paired with a soror from PLO to foster cross-regional relationships.
Some logistics:
This program is launching today, March 3rd.
Sorors who are interested in being matched should complete the Interest form as soon as possible, but no later than March 25th.
We will match Sorors based on their responses and send them further communication, including a Welcome "All Aboard" Guide, shortly after the deadline to respond.
The program will run until December 2023.
We will provide sorors with tools to foster their relationships, opportunities to connect with their Soror Pal in person, and much much more! It is for individual sorors who want to participate, so it does not require chapter commitment.
Sisterly,
Soror Lisa-Moné Lamontagne, AKA Pals Chair

“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”- Luke 6:38 AMP

OUR STANDARDS
The results from the 2022 TRO Chapter Survey were shared during the March Chapter meeting. Thank you for participating. Please do consider completing surveys as they provide information on how to best serve and improve the Chapter.
Back by popular demand, the next activity is Lemon Squeezes: The Sequel, which is tentatively scheduled in April.
The first draft of the Manual of Standard Procedures is done. It will be presented to the Standards Committee for review prior to sharing with the Chapter.
As a friendly reminder on our journey to compliance as well as operating procedures defining who we are, we are going to go…go slow…but, go…correctly. Why? Because we are Tau Rho Omega.
