Soror MarQuisia Johnson, Basileus
Greetings!
As we find ourselves half way through the first month of 2023, I hope the new year has already been filled with happiness and you are continuing to pursue your goals and embracing new areas of growth. I would like to wish a very HAPPY FOUNDERS’ DAY to each of you! Our founders were inspiring visionaries and dynamic leaders. Like many of you, they each had special talents and gifts that fueled their mission of being of service to all mankind.
As we reflect on our founders and the five basic tenets that comprise the mission of our sorority, I encourage you to join with other Tau Rho Omega sorors as we execute our shared mission. There are numerous opportunities to serve. To name a few, our SOAR program initiatives, Pearls and Onyx, DFW Metroplex Founders’ Day and the Zina Movement are all areas where your contributions would be welcomed. Please reach out to the chairmen of these program initiatives/events for more information. I firmly believe that all that we need to be successful can be found in each of the members of our chapter. Will you join me as we continue to “Soar to New Heights of Service and Sisterhood”?

“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use[when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”

OUR STANDARDS
Thank you to those that have completed the Chapter survey. Your time and thoughts are appreciated. However, we need more responses. Some have asked what to mark if you are not certain of the answer. I can assure you that TRO is compliant because that is who we are, but answer the questions to the best of your knowledge and feel free to make comments regarding the items of uncertainty.
The revised deadline for completion is January 16, 2023.
As a friendly reminder on our journey to compliance as well as operating procedures defining who we are, we are going to go…go slow…but, go…correctly. Why? Because we are Tau Rho Omega.
Stay tuned!
