We've had a bit of sickness in our room this week. Hope everyone is getting some rest and feeling better!
This week we finished our narratives!! One of our friends shared his in our author chair, as he will be out, but the rest of us will share their books this upcoming week. We just had too many absences this week to make it all happen!
In our writing we have moved on to writing poetry! We have been reading poems and learning how to look at the world through a poet’s eyes. We have been writing about every day objects to practice our poetry writing.
It was so wonderful to see you all at the Christmas concert! Below are videos of our songs, in case a family member was not able to attend.
We had a small crew on Friday, so we did a fun winter craft.
On Friday afternoon, we visited Mrs. Smith’s classroom and were able to use her learning materials to dress up as community workers!
