Day Two

We had another great day!  These first three days we are spending time getting back into the routine of school and working with others. We are starting to learn the structure of our day and explore the materials in our classroom. This helps us to practice sharing and working with others, kindness and responsiblity.

This morning during writing time, we started to work on a book All About Me. We read the book "Our Class is A Family" and started our books to learn more about one another.  (Sorry I didn't get any photos, we were busy!)

On this rainy day, we were stuck inside for recess. We pulled out the inside recess toys and made the best of it!

During math workshop, we continued exploring our math station materials with our partners. 

This afternoon we had fun in PE with Mr. Stott!  At reading workshop we did some phonemic awareness work and continued to learn about what it means to be a reader.  We finished the day with fun stations and choice!
