Day Three

Despite the rain, it was another fun day!

On Fridays, we start our day playing chess as a school. We partner with students from 3-5 and 6-8. They help mentor us in the game of chess.

We learned about the life cycle of monarch butterflies and used watercolors to paint all of the parts of the life cycle. They all came out beautifully!

Today we learned the nursery rhyme, "Jack Be Nimble". We had fun saying our names in the rhyme as we jumped over a candle. We then illustrated covers for our poetry notebooks. We'll be adding "Jack Be Nimble" in on Tuesday.
