🏛️ Monday, DECEMBER 22: K-2 field trip Great Pond Town Hall and a drive to all 4 towns in our community to see town lines.

OUR WEEK

On Monday, we practiced reading our narrative books, with the help of some students from Mrs. Jones' class. They were very helpful!

After we practiced, we then shared our books in our author chair!

We finished Monday with community stations in Mrs. Smith's room.

Tuesday, we visited the Aurora branch of the Maine DOT. We learned about how they take care of the roads and how BIG the trucks were! We got to see the sand/salt shed and they even had treats and juice for us to enjoy. THANK YOU Maine DOT for such a wonderful and informative visit!

Thursday morning, we visited the Aurora post office to learn about our community mail system. THANK YOU for having us!

On Thursday afternoon we visited Peruvian Link, in Amherst. We were able to feed the Alpaca's ad learn about how they us thier fiber to make many products. It is exciting to see a business here in Amherst that ships all of the country and world! A big THANK YOU to Peruvian Link for our visit and for our fluffly aplaca toys!

We did a few more activities this week, but they involve family surprises, so I will share those photos later!  We had quite the week!!
