Prerequisite:  

Completion of German 4, teacher consultation and/or placement test. Placement in the Honors section of this course requires: Completion of all assigned honors summer work; Teacher recommendation based on Q1 performance and grade (minimum B+ and above). Honors placement is finalized after Q1.

Course Description: 

This advanced II course is a continuation and reinforcement of German 4. There will be a continued emphasis on advanced grammar structure, syntax, vocabulary and readings of different cultural contexts. Students will further become acquainted with new communicative domains. Specific focus will be given to students’ writing   proficiency through various conceptual and creative writing projects. E-learning concepts and methods of the ACS i2Flex educational program are integrated into the learning process.
