Prerequisite: 

Completion of German 3, teacher consultation and/or placement test. Placement in the Honors section of this course requires: Completion of all assigned honors summer work; Teacher recommendation based on Q1 performance and grade (minimum B+ and above). Honors placement is finalized after Q1.

Course Description: 

A major focus of this advanced I course is to introduce students to different text styles. Students will be encouraged to strengthen their reading comprehension and to practice reading strategies of approaching texts.  Students will further become acquainted with new communicative domains. Specific focus will be given to students’ oral proficiency. Students will be guided to experience and practice interactive discussions in class.  E-learning concepts and methods of the ACS i2Flex educational program are integrated into the learning process.
