Prerequisite: 

A minimum of B+ in Algebra & Trigonometry and B+ in Geometry with Algebraic topics

*Pending course enrollment: This course will run provided that sufficient student enrollment of a minimum of 10 students is reached.

Description:

AP Pre-Calculus centers on dynamic function modeling of phenomena.  It is designed to better prepare students for college-level calculus and provide grounding for other mathematics and science courses.  Students in this course will sit for the CollegeBoard© Advanced Placement Examination (AP Syllabus). Topics include: Polynomial and Rational Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometric and Polar Functions, Functions involving parameters, Vectors and Matrices. 

A Graphic Display calculator is required. CASIO CG series graphic display calculator will be used for class instruction and demonstration. Please check with the school before buying a graphing calculator.
