U.S. High School Diploma

About

All ACS Athens Academy graduates earn a United States High School Diploma, accredited by Middle States Association. It is our flagship offering and the basis for our High School program.

Graduation Requirements

Students are required to earn 26 Carnegie Units/Credits for graduation. Year-long courses provide 1 Carnegie Unit/Credit, while semester courses provide 0.5 Carnegie Unit/Credit.

Special Considerations

The U.S. Diploma can only be awarded when students have spent a minimum of two years in the American Education system (pertains to transfer students).

Students who transfer into ACS Athens in grades 10-12 may transfer up to 7 credits per grade level year from another institution.

While enrolled at ACS Athens in the Academy, a maximum of 2 credits may be earned and transferred from external providers.
