IB Diploma Course Students: C or above in Physics 2 (Honors or Regular)

Description:

This is the first year of a two-year course leading to an IB exam at the end of year 2. It is suitable for those who want to follow a course in the Sciences, Math, Medicine or Engineering at University. The course follows the curriculum of the IBO in Physics and includes space, time and motion, the particulate nature of matter, wave behavior, fields, and nuclear and quantum physics.  The course involves laboratory work, which is internally assessed and forms part of the final IB grade. The course includes practical lab work as part of the IBO’s Internal Assessment requirements that all students are required to complete

Assessment:

Tests/exams/homework and lab work in accordance with IBO assessment practices.
