Prerequisite: 

A minimum grade of B+ in Algebra 2 Trigonometry Regular, B- in Algebra 2 Trig Honors

Description:

This rigorous course introduces the basic concepts of Statistics. It is designed for seniors who are not IB diploma candidates, who are US College bound or seek an AP level course for University admissions. Students in this course will sit for the Advanced Placement Examination (AP Syllabus). Topics studied in this course include exploring data, sampling and experimentation, probability and simulation and statistical inference. The course aims to equip students with technology expertise, problem solving, inquiry and investigation and writing skills as they work towards conceptual understanding.

A Graphing Display calculator is required. CASIO CG series graphic display calculator will be used for class instruction and demonstration. Please check with the school before buying a graphing calculator.
