Mathematics main objective is developing pupils mental skills. In this course you will gain more knowledge about how to develop pupils' number sense and mental computation skills which represents the latest trend in mathematics education worldwide. You will be able to practice your knowledge through various workshops during the course
The course will cover the basic concepts related to number sense and mental computation skills, also will cover modern teaching strategies and methods to develop number sense and mental computation skills.

By the end of this course you will be able to use several teaching strategies and methods in developing number sense and mental computation skills for primary schools pupils.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental concepts in number sense and mental computation strategies.
- Acquire the skills needed to use modern teaching strategies and methods to develop number sense and mental computation for primary school pupils (e.g. Educational games).
- Teach Mathematics through different interactive strategies and more effective ways.
- Design learning activities to develop mental skills and use them in mathematics context.
- Practice their knowledge through many workshops.
