Course Description

This level will teach you how to use ROS in computer vision tasks as well as autonomous navigation problems besides robotic arms problems. Join us now to unleash your potentials.

Prerequisites:

  • ROS-Basics OR
  • Being familiar with the ROS basic commands and working with Gazebo

ALL attendees need to have their laptops brought with them to the training sessions

Course Topics:

  • ROS For navigation and Robotic arm manipulation
    • ROS control
    • Gmapping and SLAM
    • Navigation stack for autonomous navigation
    • Moveit
  • ROS for computer vision
    • Stereo camera and mono camera calibration
    • Depth from stereo cameras and Kinect
    • Stereo camera or Kinect as a laser scanner
