Habitat and Origin: Occurs in rocky woods, slopes and river sides

Characteristics: A perennial stemless plant that typically exhibits several flower petal colors. The most typical petal coloring is dark purple upper leaves and light blue lower leaves or all light blue.

Optimal Growing Conditions: Grows best in full sun locations in dry to medium moisture soils. Can tolerate drought conditions.
