Plants

In order to figure that out we consulted a few books, some web sites, and our project team. Once a potential list was compiled it was time to purchase seeds and plugs. Because growing conditions in Alberta can be harsh, some seeds can take more than one overwintering to germinate. These plants we acquired as one-year old dormant plugs. All the rest were planted from seed. Most seeds were purchased from Wild About Flowers, while the wild tobacco and strawberries were purchased from Richters.
