See, Feel & Catch Drill – Place Receivers 5 yards apart, emphasis on ball being followed by receivers head…right to hands & tuck (Use all receivers opposite each other – coach one line shifting often to rotate players)
Squeeze it Soft – Receivers are jogging a line catching the ball on various sides and angles from Coaches and QB’s (Must teach passes at all locations including behind, teaching receivers to reach back.
Drive Off and Rip Out –Teach receivers with tight coverage, to drive off the line fast, no wasted energy, turning the defender. (Coach taking away the defenders cushion) short and medium routes can use a QB throwing a flag or post pattern.
Find the Ball – Receivers in simple fly routes, routes to side line and lobs over the shoulder (Use Coach and QB’s 45 degree to line)
Get the Ball – 2 Receivers moving in toward the coach or at opposite directions converting on the ball at the highest point.
Harassment - Receiver works for release from defender to cushion inside LB (Receiver uses hands to move past defender Coach and
QB passes). Have receiver work on slants and cut backs to be open.

Focus on the Ball – (Place 6 players on a line) Use 1 or 2 Coaches or QB’s passing the ball over the players. Receivers run lines opposite the passer while having view to the passer impeded on and off to find the ball.
Come Backs – Have the receivers run down and away opposite the passer. Receivers make speed to the flat low and away. Go get it!

Full Dummy
Tuck It In –Defenders with shields at predetermined locations and 3 yard spacing, make contact with the receiver after catching the ball.
Burst and Spin – Same as above, but receiver must charge full size dummy after clearing shields with ball covered and bending with a half turn thru the dummy to try and avoid hard contact and loose ball. (Move ball side from side to side for the receiver)
