Geisler v. Smart Away 4:30

The Varsity Trojan Football Team traveled to Geisler Middle School yesterday and won 24 to 6.
A.J. Chuchla returned the opening kick off for a touchdown. A.J. also scored a two point conversion.
Lucas Hargis passed 2 touchdown passes to Michael Towns. Lucas also scored a rushing two point conversion.
Adam Rabaut scored a rushing touchdown, too.
There was great blocking by the offensive line: Dean Lipinski, Eric Finn, Luke Henry, Jordan Vickery and Joe Long.
The defense was an intimidating force throughout the game and gave up only four first downs.
Dean Lipinski blocked a punt.
The Trojans did not punt the entire game.

Our next game is Wednesday, September 28th at home (our home opener) versus Pierce Middle School. Varsity kick off is at 4:00 p.m.

The JV Trojan Football team lost their first game of the year to Geisler 22 -0. The team is consistently learning to play as a single unit on both Offense and Defense.
The Offensive blocking was lead by Tyler Fuelling and Jake Frelich. Paul Forhan was an effective player helping brace his Defensive Team. Solid efforts were observed by the coaching staff. The two hardest hits of the afternoon came from both Carter Farr and Ryan
Lemanski.
Wednesday Sept 28, 2011, Pierce MS v. Smart Home 4:00PM
On a rainy day in Commerce Twp., Pierce Middle came to Smart and defeated the Varsity Trojans 8 - 0 on the defensive touchdown.
The Trojans out gained Pierce, through the air (QB Lucus Hargis and on the ground by A.J. Chuchla, Cody Smith, Adam Rabaut, and Joe Long with a number of long runs.
The Trojans produced more 1st downs, too.
Dean Lipinski had a good game blocking.
The defense played great all game and shut Pierce's offense down.
There were some good hits put on Pierce's two running backs and one big one by Eric Finn. Ray Abbott had a great game from the corner back position.
Wed, Oct 5, 2011 - Mason Middle School v. Smart home 4:00PM Kick Off
The Trojan Varsity Football Team hosted Mason Middle School yesterday. We tied 6-6. Adam Rabaut had a great catch thrown by Luke Hargis to get the Trojans going. A. J. Chuchla, who ran hard all game, scored just before half time. Cody Smith caught a long pass in the second half and Dean Lipinski, Eric Finn, and Luke Henry blocked well.
Mason scored on an interception return for a touchdown
The defensive pitched their second shut out of the season. Mason did not complete a pass all game because of Mikey Towns, Collin Cartwright, and Ray Abbott.
Wed, Oct 12, 2011 - Sarah Banks Middle School v. Smart away 4:30PM Kick Off
The hard hitting Varsity Trojan Football Team traveled to Banks Middle School and won 44-6. Touchdowns were scored by: A. J. Chuchla, a 50 yard run, Luke Hargis, a 70 yard run, Mikey Towns, a 50 yard yard, Joe Long, a 30 yard run and, Devin Hager field a punt and took it to the house.
The offensive and defensive line came off the ball and knocked the bulldogs back lead by Eric Finn, Dean Lipinski, Luke Henry, Jordan Vickery, Patrick Liess, Nichlos Ketteringer, and Aaron Wing.
The Trojan defense was equally impressive and created 5 turnovers and held Banks Middle School to three first downs. It was the great team win! Collin Cartwright had the hit of the night.
The Trojans have increased our record to 2-1-1.
Next week, the mighty Trojans play Meads Mill for our last home game for the season with a 4:00PM kick off.
The JV Trojan Football Team beat Banks Middle School 20-12. The game started with Quinn Smolinski taking the ball back to the house. Ryan Lemanski scored a touchdown on a quarterback keep. Jorge Avitia had a good game blocking and tackling.
Paul Forham and Andrew Seng played great on the defensive line.
Great team effort a smaller tougher group of players!

The Varsity Trojan Football Team won 8-0 against Meads Mill Middle School for their third shut out of the season. Luke Henry scored a touchdown on a heavy set play from 3 yards and AJ Chuchla scored the 2 point conversion for the only points of the game. Michael Jerore had the hit of the day and got a big first down running the ball. Luke Henry, Eric Finn, DJ Lipinski, and Jordan Vickery dominated the offensive and defensive line. Luke Hargis had a good game from Defensive End. Mikey Towns had a touchdown saving tackle on a kick off and Ray Abbott knocked down a pass. The Varsity Trojan Football Team's record is 3-1-1 and they close out their season on Wednesday, Oct 26, at 7:00PM against Walnut Creek Middle School at Walled Lake Central High School, Dress warm!
The Junior Varsity Trojan Football Team won 28-0 against Meads Mill Middle School for their first shut out of the season. Jack Valentine scored a rushing touchdown on the first play of the game. Paul Forhan and Ryan Lemanski lead the offense. Quinn Smolinski carried the pile 15 yards while running the ball. Linemen Logan Nesbitt, Nathan Lie, and Garrett Clyma had a good game. Evan McDonald forced a fumble and it was recovered by Harrison Crawford on a kick off. The defense forced 3 turnovers. It was a great team effort. The Junior Varsity Trojan Football Team's record is 3-1-1, and they close out the season against Walnut Creek Middle School (away) on Tuesday, Oct 25, at 4:30PM.

The mighty Varsity Trojan Football Team traveled last night to Walled Lake Central High School to record there 4th shut out of the season and man handled Walnut Creek Middle School to a 20-0 victory. A.J. Chuchla scored 3 rushing touchdowns and Michael Towns ran for a two point conversion. It was a total team effort.
Ian Moran and Ryan Riger ran the ball and blocked well.
Lucas Hargis gave a great pitch to Cody Smith on an option.
The Offense Line and Defensive Line, "WOW!" Dean Lipinski, Joe Long, Luke Henry, Eric Finn, Jordan Vickery, Patrick Liess, Nichlos Ketteringer, Gabriel Misjalovski, and Donavan Smith. The boys came off the ball hard all game.
The wide receivers blocked well to support the running game: Michael Nelson, Jack Bergman, Ramon Rogers II, Jacob O'Donnell, Devin Hager, and Jacob Sears.
On defense, we gang tackled as a team all night led by Adam Rabaut, Ray Abbott, Michael Jerore, and Collin Cartwright.

The Smart Middle School JV and Varsity Football Teams are the Walled Lake Middle School Football City Champs. Against the other three Walled Lake Middle Schools the varsity scored 88 points and gave up only 12 points. Those 6 points, a 50 yard run on the third play of the season, were the only points the red defense gave up all year. The white defense only gave up 6 points, too. The defense gave up 12 points total for the entire year. We finished our great season with a 4-1-1 record and two plays from being undefeated. Coach Singelyn, Coach Lipinski, Coach Cartwright, and Coach VanDike believe it will be fun watching this awesome group of kids in high school!
The Trojan JV Football Team won their last contest of the year against Walnut Creek Middle School 24-12 to finish the season with a record of 4-1-1.

Harrison Crawford caught to passes from the tight end position.
Ryan Lemanski was a great leader and did a good job at linebacker.
Bret Rogers intercepted a two point conversion.
Evan McDonald had big tackles on the kick offs.
Carter Farr had big blocks and fakes at running back to open up the offense.
The offensive line had a big second half.
and all of the 2 point conversions were made.
Mr. Singelyn would like to thank the players for their hard work this season and Coach VanDike, Coach Cartwright, Coach Hautau, Coach Morton, Coach Lemanski, Coach Fuelling, and Coach Callahan for molding the football players into 2011 City Champions.
Remember to go home on the bus, get your homework done, eat diner, and go to the varsity game dressed warm.
The Trojan Varsity Football Team end their season tonight at 7:00PM (Dress Warm) at Walled Lake Central High School against Walnut Creek Middle School. All varsity players will take the bus home, do their homework, eat diner, and get back to school no later than 5:15PM. The bus to the game departs at 5:45PM.
